This article discusses gender, racial, and sexual relations in a context of prison victimization and their interfaces with education, through the reading of literary works and textual production. It was posed as a research problem: to what extent are inmates involved in reading and textual production projects led to reflect through literary texts that address certain gender, racial and sexual issues?
The research was Petroleum Manufacturers Email Lists carried out in a penitentiary establishment in the interior of Bahia, the Conjunto Penal de Paulo Afonso, and the Collective Subject Discourse Analysis (ADSC) methodology was used, with the sample consisting of 40 subjects, of which 30 were prisoners involved. in reading and writing projects and 10 prison workers. The results show in the collective discourse of 92.5% (n=37) of those surveyed that remediation through reading is the main pedagogical practice adopted in the use of reading and textual production and for 72.5% (n=29) of the sample it When associated with human rights education, it encourages reflection on racism, sexual violence, risks of STD infections and gender issues to the point where prisoners express their opinions on such topics in their sentence remission reports by reading them.

The objective of the research was to analyze gender, racial, and sexual relations in a context of prison victimization in a penitentiary establishment in the semi-arid region of Bahia and its interfaces with education, through reading literary works and textual production.
In delimiting its theme, it was taken into account that gender intersected with race and sexualities are part of daily life in prison in a context of victimization and influence the behavior of prisoners, feeding back into the cycle of prison victimization, in which people deprived of liberty They do not reflect on the possibilities of transforming their reality.
