If you are working for a company, you should be happy. If you're not, the leader or boss of the company is to blame, according to management expert Tom Peters.
During his presentation at the World Business Forum, the expert said:
“Why are you the leader or boss of your company? For fun! Because if you don't enjoy it, quit, you're a shitty boss! 87% of Mexicans and Americans hate going to work, and it's your fault!
I despise the term 'human resources'. “I am Thomas Peters, born in 1942, I am a person!” he exclaimed, in front of a slide that read: “People are NOT 'human resources', people are NOT 'your number 1 asset'”.

According to the co-author of the book “In Pursuit of Excellence: Lessons from America's Best Managed Companies”: Business is about people (leaders) serving people (employees) serving people (customers).
He says that between 70% and 87% of workers confess that they do not like their work, that they do not feel committed to their companies and that they are not happy.
“I'm not saying that those present here don't care about this, what I'm saying is that they are not obsessed with this issue.”
In relation to the need to have personnel in charge of training and managing equipment, the author says that: “If a commander loses a lieutenant it is a tragedy. But if he loses a sergeant, it's a catastrophe. Success on the battlefield depends to an extraordinary degree on them.
That is why the human factor is important for the proper development of business. Peters stated that in the short term the degrees that will be most in demand will differ from those that currently lead the labor market.

But "by 2020, graduates from arts and humanities schools will occupy senior positions because they will be in charge of project management. And the moment you are in charge of a project, everything is about people management.”
Tom Peters began his presentation by explaining that he does not know if Mexico is part of California, where he has lived for 35 years, or the other way around. For this reason, he confessed his shame before the government that currently occupies the White House.
